	The CN Tower photographed with an extreme wide angle (19mm) lens in June 1976 from Spadina Avenue. A few CN diesels stand in the foreground and a portion of Spadina Yard can be seen on the right, while to the left, tracks lead directly into Union Station, with a few that will veer to the right into the CP John Street Roundhouse on the other side of the Tower.

	Another view of the CN Tower taken with a 19mm extreme wide angle lens in June 1976. This one shows more of the CN Spadina Roundhouse, including the coaling towers to the right and a couple of diesel locos. Hardly any of the trackwork exists today and the Rogers Centre (originally known as SkyDome) has yet to be built.

	The GO Transit Wilowbrook Yard, in one of 2 photos captured on the fly through the window of a moving train on an adjacent track, fairly late in the evening during the mid-70s. 	The staple of GP Transit in the Willowbrook Yard was GP40-2W, GP-40TC and FP units, in push-pull operation. The FP units (numbered 900-911) were mostly purchased from Ontario Northland and used as auxiliary power control units (APCU), having lost their engine, main generator and traction motors and now only used to provide extra electricity to the train. The FP unit is #904, built by GM in 1952 (Ser#A384) and sold into the US in 1991. Its companion to the left, GO Transit #708, was made into a GP 40-2W HO model by Athern. http://www.athearn.com/Products/Default.aspx? ProdID=ATHG40556

	Michigan Central Roundhouse at London Ont. Oct 1982 Horton St. E, View Michigan Central roundhouse was used for many years as a fruit & vegetable warehouse. The produce was brought in by boxcars via the L&PS After the fruit & vegetab business ended the roundhouse became a restaurant. It is now, to the best of my knowledge, unused.

	Part of the CNR yard at Hornepayne, Ontario from an early 1960's photo postcard. The large building at the bottom left is the back of the old station, a very large building now vacant and boarded up windows (following vandalism), since a new VIA station was built. View the old brick station at https://www.flickr.com/photos/evrythingsucks/ 4087059303/ The Northern Ontario town was originally established in 1915 as Fitzback when the Canadian Northern Railway's transcontinental line was built through the area. It was renamed Hornepayne in 1920 after British financier Robert Horne-Payne. In time, Hornepayne became an important CN divisional point.
