![]() | CPR Gouverneur Station George was traveling in the area when he came across this old station. It had been converted in to a farm house. He wondered where it had come from as it wasn’t close to any railway lines and it didn’t appear to be from any of the two nearby towns. It is now located close to the the Ponteix airfield. I found out from the town of Ponteix administrator that the station had been moved some time ago from what was the town of Gouverneur. The move was about 48 KM. |
